Also, eight logic outputs and six DR remote ports are included. Therefore, 32 daisy-chained EXP3x Expanders would provide 64 RAD ports, 192 DR ports and 256 logic outputs. The dedicated DSP for each of the eight analog outputs offers two signal processing choices independently selectable per output. When you need background music, paging and emergency paging on an output, select the Zone Output processing set. This provides a Zone Processor block, and an Emergency Zone in addition to a Compressor and a 5-band parametric EQ with high- and low-cut filters. When Line Output is selected, the compressor and parametric EQ are available without the zone processing block and emergency paging blocks.

The Soundcraft Vi2 will therefore appeal to anyone who wants to use a Vi console but has more limited space than usual in which to operate. For example, it could be easily brought in at stage side for monitors alongside an existing console at festivals, or in corporate events where input access is less demanding than a multi-piece live band. The Vi2 is also suitable for use as a space-efficient spare console, and as an easily transportable training or programming unit. The Vi2's Show files are fully compatible with Vi4 and Vi6 consoles, and also with the Virtual Vi Offline Editing software. All the usual processing is accessible via the Local Rack, and even the 30-band graphic EQ's are available, by using a paging system, accessed via the 8 output section faders. The Soundcraft Vi2 provides a cost effective and useful accessory for existing Vi4 and Vi6 owners, who can use a Vi2 surface with their existing racks, which helps maximise rental inventory usage so that Vi console systems can be used on both large and small scale productions.

The F-DCM™ is a networked audio and control input/output node that supports both Dante™ and CobraNet® audio transport protocols for efficient and convenient extension of audio and control inputs and outputs in networked systems. The F-DCM automatically determines which audio transport protocol is in use and negotiates its connection to the network accordingly via the same network connection and RJ45 jack. Rotary controls on the F-DCM front panel allow easy setting of the device address.

The DiGiCoSD Rack is the newly-designed rack for the various versions of the SD5, SD7, SD8,  SD9, SD10 and SD11 consoles. It delivers up to 192kHz high resolution analogue I/O converters and multiple digital formats, but you can select different sample rate options for specific outputs. In other words, when used in conjunction with any SD console, the SD Rack will serve you as a multi-sample rate signal splitter that even allows you to use our ultra-smooth microphone preamps to replace the standard mic preamps of an analogue or other digital console.

The Studer D21m high-density audio interface system has been designed to provide the highest quality analogue, digital and signaling interconnections between external equipment and all current and future Studer DSP cores, including those serving the Vista range of consoles. The Studer D21m high-density audio interface system has been designed to provide the highest quality analogue, digital and signaling interconnections between external equipment and all current and future Studer DSP cores, including those serving the Vista range of consoles. The system is based on a 19" 3U rack which can house up to 12 audio interface cards and one or two HD (high-density) cards. Each HD card carries up to 192 channels in Vista systems- and up to 384 channels in Router systems at sampling rates of up to 96kHz, and is connected to the DSP core by standard CAT-5 twisted twin cables.

The Studer D21m Dante card is a 64 x 64 interface between a Studer Vista or OnAir con­sole (OnAir support with OnAir SW v6.1) and any Dante compatible device from HARMAN or other 3rd party manufacturers. The Studer D21m DanteTM card needs a double slot in the D21m frame which is connected to the console’s core. This makes a Studer console a part of a Dante network.

The Compact Stagebox is an extension to the range of Soundcraft digital live sound consoles, and adds a low-cost expansion option to the Soundcraft Vi Series, Soundcraft Si Series, Soundcraft Vi1™ and Soundcraft® SI Compact. The Soundcraft Compact Stagebox offers a high density of I/O connections in only 4U of rack space. The modular unit is fully configurable but is offered with a standard configuration of 32 mic/line inputs, 8 line outputs, 8 channels of AES/EBU outputs and 2 expansion slots for standard Studer D21m I/O cards.

The Compact Stagebox adds a cost effective expansion option, offering a high density of I/O connections in only 4U of rack space. The modular unit is fully configurable but is offered with a standard configuration of 32 mic/line inputs and 16 line outputs. It is possible to equip the Compact Stagebox with an additional 16 mic/line input module instead of the output module, then providing 48 inputs. In this case, analogue or AES/ EBU outputs can still be obtained on D-Type connectors via D21m cards fitted to the expansion slots.

The Si Expression 1 features 16 recallable mic pre amps (24 on Si Expression 2 and 32 on Si Expression 3) plus 4 line inputs, 4 internal stereo FX returns, AES in, and a 64x64 expansion slot.

The Si Expression 2 features 24 recallable mic pre amps (16 on Si Expression 1 and 32 on Si Expression 3) plus 4 line inputs, 4 internal stereo FX returns, AES in, and a 64x64 expansion slot offering more than enough scope to use every one of the 66 input processing channels.
