Dante Studio: Why can I only see 1 or 2 Rx channels on upgrading to Dante Studio v2.6?

Dante Studio 2.6 is Audinate first release of Dante Studio with multiple (4) Rx channels. There is a range of conditions that may prevent you from seeing multiple Rx channels:

Software Version

This may be because you are not using Dante Studio 2.6 or above, please get the latest Dante Studio from here.

License Reactivation

The license needs to be updated to 4 channels. To see 4 Rx channels (@ 720/1080p), the user will need to log out and log back into Studio for the change to become active. (How to log out, see Logging Out from Dante Studio). Before the license update, the user will only see 1 or 2 Rx channels on v2.6.

Resolution Configuration

The number of Rx channels is dependent on the selected resolution. 1 Rx channel at 4K, and 4 Rx channels at 720/1080p. Change the resolution to 720/1080p to see 4 Rx channels. (How to change resolutions).

Subscription Model

Dante Studio uses a user-based yearly subscription model for licensing. We used to offer a monthly subscription model previously, which is now unavailable. If you are still using the previous monthly subscription model for Dante Studio, you will not receive the extra channels that come with 2.6 after logging out and logging in again. If this is the case, please cancel your current monthly subscription and change over to a yearly subscription. (How to cancel the subscription).
