How to Integrate Yamaha's ADECIA & Dante Networked Audio into Existing Corporate IT Infrastructure

This webinar will be more technical in nature and will cover several important topics exploring the components of Yamaha’s ADECIA ecosystem and provide a deeper understanding of Dante, how Dante processes digital audio, the concept of Dante clocking, and the impact of network latency.

The session will also address best practices for sharing a corporate LAN with Dante IP traffic, the importance of Quality of Service (QoS), and how IGMP snooping works. ADECIA best practices for integration will be discussed, along with insights into new network switches and the Yamaha Network Switch Web GUI. Also, a look at LAN monitoring for Yamaha switches and Dante integration with ADECIA.

John Salt
Design Consultant at Audinate
In this role, he assists systems integrators, consultants, and end users of the Dante platform with the design, optimization, and troubleshooting of their media networks. His career spans three decades and has included positions in production, rental and staging, end-user, integration, and consulting firms. He holds an Avixa CTS-D, Cisco CCNA, and a Master’s degree in Information Technology & Management from Illinois Tech.

Todd Harris is a seasoned audio professional with over 20 years of experience in pro audio, commercial AV, and unified communications technology. After several years in audio engineering and retail leadership with Guitar Center, Todd joined Revolabs/Yamaha UC in 2017, where he received the Diamond Service Award in 2019 and was promoted to Senior Product Integration Specialist in 2021. A Dante Level 3-certified expert, Todd is passionate about leveraging audio technology to improve communication experiences across diverse environments.
